| hi all just wanted to know if anyone had a windows 95 floppy disk 1
they can copy and send me by email i have the windows 95 floppy set of
30 and i am try to install it on a laptop with no operating system but
floppy disk 1 seems to be messed up if anyone canm help please let me
know thanks

are you sure?
you know that you need to startup with a boot floppy before using disk 1 |

One other thing, the setup disk. A Win95b bootdisk from here will work:
http://anbcomp.com/files/bootdisk/boot95b.exe
Create the bootdisk by double clicking on the file boot95b.exe, then boot
from it. If you need to, partition (Fdisk) and format (Format) the drive
(reboot as necessary). Then put in Disk1 and enter Setup. The installation
will proceed from there. |

A couple of the ftp links were incorrect. I replaced them above with the
correct ones. |

I have all the Win 95 disks.
My disk 4 is bad
trade a copy of disk 1 for a copy of disk 4

Why don't you get anohter copy of Windows 95 off ebay or something like that? |

| I have a setup boot disk for win 95, i don't know if this will help you. What I'm looking for is Win 95 operating system disk set. I have the Boot disk and Cd with key. It's that the laptop I'm trying to get running is only a floppy drive. |
