You will have to use Fdisk to remove the NTFS partition and create a new
one then you will have to format the new partition.
How to Use the Fdisk Tool and the Format Tool to Partition or
Repartition a Hard Disk

Depending on how your disk is partitioned there are times when you can
get caught up in what I call the "Logical Drive Loop" if you try
removing NTFS partitions with Fdisk. Fdisk tells you it can't delete
the partition because it contains a logical drive, then if you try to
delete the logical drive it says it can't delete it. It those cases use
Delpart.exe to remove the partitions.
