| Is there any way to download a full and functional copy of ie6 for use on a
computer that isn't online? All I've found is the 400k installer.
Thanks,
David

Thanks so much for the idea. I tried it (a variation of "C:\Windows Update
Setup Files\ie6setup.exe" /c:"ie6wzd.exe /d /s:""C:\Windows Update Setup
Files\ie6setup.exe""") - although I'm not 100% sure that this would produce
for me a single file which I can then transfer to the off-line computer - but
was told "Setup was unable to download the required components. Please make
sure you are connected to the internet..."
Is it possible that the URLs have changed?
Thanks again,
David

I have never tried that method myself, as I have dozens of copies of
IE6 SP1 on the free CDs that come with magazines in my country.
Take your chances with these:

That certainly looks like it will do the job! Thanks.
My tax software CDs over the years also came with copies of IE - but the
latest version I had was IE 5.5
Thanks again!
