I've tried Norton remedy, changing my internet options, etc. Nothing lets me
change my home page from MSN.

Hi,
These and other third-party programs can lock the IE homepage.
Spybot> Tools> IE Tweaks
Ad-aware Pro
Spyware Blaster
Zone Alarm (free) 6.5
If Zone Alarm is the guilty party, the solution (if you don't want to
uninstall ZA) is to startup in Safe Mode, change the homepage, restart.
See:

Hope this helps,

I had recently completed a clean install of XP Pro and then downloaded all my programs including the latest version of ZoneAlerm. Apparently that's when my problems started, unbeknownst to me. It fits the time line anyway. I haven't reloaded Zone Alarm and am a little hesitant to do so. Maybe I'll just stay with Windows Firewall for awhile and give Zone Labs a chance to correct this problem. I'll keep monitoring the Zone Alarm forum to see if they do. Gr

Great and glorious thanks to Don for this tip. It worked for me.
