got a new s3000ahv motherboard and q6600 processor for my trusty nt4.0
web server and , of course, some of the on-board devices dont work
because there arent drivers for nt4.0 namely the video card and
network card. the atapi portion of the ide controller works so i have
cd rom and im using a adaptec scsi controller so it works. i had to
flash the firmware to an old version on the adaptec to get it to
work.
i put in a pro/100 S ethernet card and it works great.
the video card is the last thing.
please tell me i dont have to try and find a pci x video card that
has nt drivers.
i wonder , if microsoft decided to jump off a cliff-would everyone
else follow ?
i just dont want to upgrade the os just for the video card !!!!
