Dial-up Networking won't recognize my installed modem. When I click on Add New Connection, the window pops up to install a modem. Device Manager shows my modem as being installed and running properly. Running Diagnostics from Control Panel/Modem shows everything communicating OK. When I run my Juno ISP software, it won't recognize the modem as being installed either. I suspect it's something to do with an improperly installed mini-port driver that is unique to ME. Can someone give me some guidance on how to go about getting this to work? Which mini-port driver do I need and what is the order at which it needs to be installed? I have an ABIT KD7-RAID MB with a VIA KT400 Chipset and VT8235 SouthBridge. Modem is a Lucent Win Modem with an Agere 1648T00 IC. I'd really rather not have to re-install the OS as it takes several days to get all the drivers re-installed and updated.
