Unable to change Event Viewer Log Size

We have a Windows 2003 Domain Controller. We tried to change the setting in
Event Viewer Log size (Security and System). After a day, the Security and
System Event Viewer Log size went back to their original setting. For
example, the Security log was set as overwrite after 14 days. We changed it
to overwrite as needed. After a day, the Security Event Viewer was changed
back to "overwrite after 14 days". Do you have any ideas why it happened?

It there a domain policy that is overwriting it?
