Hi everybody,

We have a client who is using the Symbol Barcode Scanner LS 2208 on USB port
..
In the Code 92 type barcode string, there is a % character, and under
Terminal Services Win2K, 2K3
it's read as character 5 . With PS2 scanner, it works fine . Under Citrix it
also works . So I think
this is probably a bug of Terminal Services driver . Is there anyone who has
the same problem ?
How do you make a work around for that ? For the moment we have to ask the
client to buy
Scanner PS2 connector . Luckily they don't have too many scanner like that .

Regards

Thomas

Did you ever find any resolution to this? I have what sounds like the same problem. However I have found different results on different terminal server clients.

Though I did not face any such problem but my canon printer gave me a lot of trouble right from the beginning. As I had no idea on how to solve the problem I got in touch with http://www.supportonclick.com. It was really surprising to see the problem, which I was facing for over a week was solved almost within a minute. Later they helped me a lot to solve a number of problems related to my scanner. The staffs over there even guided my friend before buying a new scanner. I think you should request your customer to seek help from supportonclick. I hope they will be able to provide necessary help.
