I not familiar with "horror land" or who owns the rights to "Goosebumps
Escape".
US copyright law is pretty generous towards text authors and software
developers. It takes a very LONG time for copyrights to expire, even if
the work has been out of "print" for decades. Any computer software or
video game, even things like Atari 2600/Sears VCS cartridges and Apple
][ titles, is still going to be covered unless the copyright holder has
expressly authorized copying the software IN WRITING. While the odds of
being caught are low, the penalties IF you are caught could be expensive.
