W2000 with all updates
The quick launch toolbar has somehow moved from the left of the task bar by
the start button to the right near the clock. Is there any way to move it
back?
Thanks,

In the "drag 'n' drop" metaphor, one simply selects the component of
interest with the pointing device (the mouse) and while holding down the
select button, drags the item to the desired location and releases the selct
button. |

Drag and drop, but drag it out to the desktop and then to where you want to
drop it as part of the same operation.

If this works but the problem recurs after a reboot, you may need a registry
revert.

Move the cursor to the vertical bar just to the right of the "Start" button.
When the cursor turns into a two-sided arrow, left-click and while
holding the left-click, drag the bar to the right side of the task bar. You
may have to readjust the size of the Quick Launch toolbar.
