I am attempting to implement barcode scanning over terminal server using a Symbol LS2208 USB based hand held barcode scanner. While troubleshooting problems encountered during testing I have noticed that on my local machine a specific barcode appears as "^11111" but on the remote terminal server the carret appears as a "6", ex. (^11111 looks like 611111). I've looked all over the net but haven't been able to locate a solution for this yet but did find a couple other people who had a problem where a "%" would appear as a "5". Any assistance is greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Jamie

On the remote desktop client select the "Options" button to see the advanced connection data. Click on the "Local Resources" tab and under the "Keyboard" section you want to choose the option to apply Windows key combinations "On the local computer" rather then the default of "In full screen mode only".
