We have recently changed to XP Professional running IE6 and we now find that
links within pdf documents will not open unless you hold down the Ctrl key
and click the link. Is there any way to change settings to allow users to
just click without holding down the Ctrl key

What application (and version) are you using to open pdf?

I don't happen to have Adobe Acrobat 7 installed, only an old copy of
Acrobat Reader 5 on an old machine.
Have you thought of using a different application with less overheads?

It works OK in Reader 5, there just seems to be a problem with 7.
Unfortunately this is our only option as I am part of a big company with
software strictly controlled. Thanks anyway.
