Archived from groups: microsoft>public>windowsnt>misc (more info?)

On computer with Windows NT Server 4.0 (SP6a) I'm received next message in
the Event Log:
Source: NETLOGON
ID: 3224
Changing machine account password for account <computername>$ failed with
the following error:
The RPC server is unavailable.
Data: 17 00 02 c0

This computer is domain member. Domain controllers is Windows Server 2003.

What's is the problem?

You might try disjoining/ rejoining the domain.
