I followed the instructions (at http://support.microsoft.com/kb/930645) to
move the Standard Toolbar back to its familiar position above the Address
bar. But I still can't move my Links to beneath the Command bar. Better
yet, I'd like to totally delete the Command bar. I use the Menu Toobar and
not a Command Toolbar, and I want to recover that viewable space.

Why (oh, really, WHY) didn't they make ALL toolbars equally movable and
selectable?

How can I delete the Command bar?

You may wish to consider programs such as Maxthon or Avant (my fav). These
are shells for IE that offer additionaly functionality to IE including the
ability to highly customize the user interface.

Please try the IE7 group.
The recommended newsgroup is microsoft.public.internetexplorer.general

In a proper newsreader:
news://msnews.microsoft.com/microsoft.public.internetexplorer.general

If you must use a web interface:
http://www.microsoft.com/communities/newsgroups/en-us/default.aspx?dg=...rosoft.
