Fellow Geeks,
I'm having a bit of trouble with my user's home directories. I had to
move them due to a pending server crash and in the process I blew out
the permissions. I was able to recreate the users' folders with the
correct permissions, but now I am having trouble setting up the actual
share the way it "should" be.
Here are the specifics:
User Home Directories are in a Folder called "UserHome" on the D:
drive. Inside of "UserHome" are about 800 user home directories. I
want the users to be able to access their directories but NOT view or
access any of the other users' directories.
My confusion lies with both the share permissions and the normal NTFS
security permissions.
Please help me out...my mind is oatmeal at this point.
