So when I watch a game on tv, I like to open up the box score so I have the
stats on my computer. I also like to have another tab open with the
standings, another with the scoreboard of the other games being played, and
maybe another tab with a chat room.
It would be nice if I could have a "favorites group" or something that would
open all these tabs with 1 click. So I go to favorites, click "game group"
and all those tabs open up for me.
This would be an awesome addition in a future version of IE. I am not sure
where to post this, so mods please move it if it is in the wrong place. |

Definitely not here. IEAK is specifically meant for
discussing the IE Administration Kit only.
BTW always disclose your OS. This is a feature in IE7
which you could install in XP and is the default browsing
functionality built in Vista.

(cross-post added to IE General)

MS is trying to avoid creating version specific newsgroups.
Hence, there is now only really IE General, for discussing
current and supported versions, and IE Beta, for discussing
the latest beta version, currently IE8.
So, if you're using a real NNTP newsreader such as
Vista's WinMail.exe you could do it with:
news://msnews.microsoft.com/microsoft.public.internetexplorer.general
Alternatively, if you want to continue using your web
interface, you could try switching using the link
my cross-post will generate in the header of this reply.
Your ability to use that will depend on which portal
(e.g. HTTP server name) you are using.

Please try the IE7 group.
The recommended newsgroup is microsoft.public.internetexplorer.general
In a proper newsreader:
news://msnews.microsoft.com/microsoft.public.internetexplorer.general
If you must use a web interface:
http://www.microsoft.com/communities/newsgroups/en-us/default.aspx?dg=...rosoft.
