Delete command help

Hi all, dose someone know the del comand that deletes all files and
directories as well in one go, I have a directory with many directories in
it and files as well and want to delete everything in one go, I cant
remember the command.

I know del *.* will delete all the files but not the dir's

it goes something like "del /.*" please help
