Hey all

So I just formatted our server which was running Windows Server 2008, and replaced it with Windows Small Business Server 2008. While this was going on we ran off our backup server.

Now that the installation is complete, I'm having problems getting DHCP to work. The service keeps stopping itself. In the event log, it says its because there is already a server in the network with IP address 192.168.0.6

That is the IP of our backup server. The IP of the main server is 192.168.0.1

Why is this creating a conflict? I'm confused as to why it cares about a server with an IP different than its own...
