I am having trouble with removing programs that show in my C:/documents and
giving me a size of folder, but does not show up in add/remove hardware. I
think I may have deleted them in the disk cleanup. If I did, why do they
show a size and why don they not appear in add/remove?..And how do I remove
them..Thanks for the help..I am xp new user

You shouldn't have 'Programs' in the My Documents location! - what you may
have there is shortcuts.
is the re a little arrow in the bottom left of the icon? what size toes
Explorer tell you they are?
try just using the DEL key - does that move them to the Recycle Bin??
