I ran System Recovery CD/DVD on a Microsoft Windows XP Home Edition. Now I'm
unable to log on. This error comes up: "A problem has prevented Windows from
accurately checking the status of the license for this computer. To prodceed
your copy of wondows must be activated with Microsoft. Do you want to
activate Windows now?" When I hit yes it tries to log on and the background
pic comes up then it logs back off. there was only one recovery disc and I'm
wondering if I'm missing something.

What system recovery CD would that be? If this is an OEM PC (Dell, HP, etc)
contact their tech support for help with their recovery process.
