problems. The free registry fix fix 50 of them. Than you have to buy it, to
fix the rest. Is there any thing else I can get or do?

My recommendation is to do nothing. Do not run any of these so-called
"registry fix" programs.
The best registry cleaner is no registry cleaner. I always recommend
against the routine use of registry cleaners. Routine cleaning of the
registry isn't needed and is dangerous. Leave the registry alone and don't
use a registry cleaner. Despite what many people think, and what vendors of
registry cleaning software try to convince you of, having unused registry
entries doesn't really hurt you.
The risk of a serious problem caused by a registry cleaner erroneously
removing an entry you need is far greater than any potential benefit it may
have.

And you reviewed EVERY one of these "problems" to see if they were in fact
legit? Or did you just take the word of a piece of free software and let it
have a field day on your registry?

Clipped for brevity
Then keep your fingers Xssed and hope that you have not caused any damage.
I wish you well - I have suffered from allowing a Reg cleaner to have its
way.
I didn't know about newsgroups then and it cost me

Don't worry. RegistryFix is an excellent program. I have been using it
for years. In any event, registry fix will back up your registry before
making any changes. The other programs mentioned here are all excellent,
and they are free. If you only have 368 invalid entries, either your
computer is relatively new or you don't make many changes. When I checked
my wife's registry, she had over 2000 invalid entries. |

that's plenty of 'invalid entries' for one wife's ... err.. registry, how
did you find out?
(sorry, couldn't resist) |

| I've seen that registry cleaners can work with my own eyes. I've had IE browser working painfully slowly and Registry Easy fixed it, this is not the only time I've seen this happen with other performance issues. |
