xp pro sp3 word 2003. Changes to normal.dot retained till restart. I can close down word and restart it and all is ok till I restart computer. I have renamed normal.dot and restarted word to get a basic version of normal.dot which I then change to my suit my needs. All fine till I restart the computer, then all changes I made are lost. Any ideas? Thanks Esmo
