hey all

i have a home buit rig that im havein issues with.

ali mobo with amd athalon 64 3500+ (2.2 GHz) proc

4 sticks of 512 mem (2.0 GHz)

1 maxtor 6y250mo

1 wdc wd800jd-75msa2

1 dvd burner

1 dvd player

nvidia geforce fx 5200 graffics card

usb key board and mouse

1 20" acer flat panel

1 19" acer flat panel

1 linksys wusb600n wireless dongle

windows xp sp3 with all updates

avg anti virus and all updates

so this is my problem.

rig was running fine for months after the install of the linksys wusb600n then last monday out of nowhere bsod!!!!! never had one on this rig in three years so now what gives? could not get the code but when i do it is random. they all show device or driver issues.

this is what i have done

removed linksys wusb600n restarted computer and no bsod
reinstalled linksys wusb600n bsod

stripped computer for sring cleaning did not remove heat sink on proc (just replaced heat goo last year at the shop i get my parts from) removed fan to clean with q tip and cleaned heatsink fins with dry soft toothbrush

installed wdc800jd-75msa2 (formated with fresh install of xp sp2)
installed 1 512 stick of memory
installed dvd player
installed video card w/20" flat panel
replaced cmos battery

restarted fine no bsod
installed linksys wusb600n software
installed device upon prompt BSOD

checked linksys wusb600n on secondary rig and it works just fine as that is how im sending this now

called linksys they say to call manufacture of rig (hello me this is me calling for tech support dude call upon ur locker gnome budys)

so im thinkin i got a IRQ conflict of some sort
so how do i check the assignment of the IRQ

or am i thinkin wrong

any ideas or solutions?
