I have a new HP XP Windows Media Center edition computer with a DVD burner.
I am trying to burn my movie made with Movie Maker onto a brand new Memorex
DVD-R. The issue is that it won't let me burn because it says the DVD-R
isn't the correct type. Any suggestions?

Exactly how are you trying to burn the DVD? Which third party software are
you using? Windows Movie Maker cannot make a video DVD.... you must use
Roxio, Nero or several other applications.

My brother has WMM and it has a facility for "Save to DVD". Mine doesn't. How
can I rectify this?

that feature is included in Media Center Edition versions of XP.... you
can't add it if it's not included.
