Hi all,

There used to be a way to change the start folder when starting up windows
explorer, but it escapes me. Can somebody point me in the right direction?

Thanks,

"Change the start folder", what are you trying to accomplish?????
Changing the View, display, size, etc.?????
You can click the Tools tab>folder options for different displays.

Or, buy a copy of "WindowsXP for Dummies" at a Walden book store.

Since you didn't indicate where you wanted Explorer to open,
here's an article that you might want to look at:

How To Customize the Windows Explorer Views in Windows XP
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;307856&sd=tech

HOW TO: Change Windows Explorer Default View to My Computer
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;221878

Good luck
