Hello,

Does anybody know how to turn on/ start a computer remotely via LAN using
the command prompt? I found out you can use some webs and do it using the IP
address and the Mac address, but I would like to do it using the command
prompt. I am sure there is a command that needs to be used.... Does anybody
know?

Thanks,

You seem to be asking if there is some command line command you can issue to
a computer that will make it power on...

The problem is that the computer - unless it has some component (hardware)
installed that can do something with the command you send it - the Operating
System will be unable to respond (because it is not loaded, after all.)

There are "magic packets' you can send to "Wake-on-LAN" network devices -
but not every machine has this. Some other componets also offer 'Wake-on"
capabilities. You'd have to look into the hardware you have to see if it is
available on certain machines (the ones you are interested in.)
