I just bought the Sims 2 for my birthday yesterday, but got home and it did not work.

I have a Windows XP and I have all the system requirements and everything.

But the problem is, is when I put the CD in, nothing pops up for me to install it. I already looked in My Computer and looked under the DVD, but its saying that nothing is there. But I tried it on my sisters labtop, and it works, but I need it on my computer. Also, I know that there is nothing wrong with my computer, because I tried putting in some other CD's that need installation and they worked just fine. Please someone help me! I've been stuck on this thing all night!!
