I have a program that runs from the cd. Is there any possible way to copy
the information from the cd to the hard drive. I don't want to fetch the cd
everytime I want to use the program. Any suggestions?

Thnx,

Create a folder on the hard drive,
Copy the folder on the CD to the one on the hard drive,
Create a shortcut on the desktop, pointing to the new folder, and the .exe
file.

If the application won't run from the hard drive but only with the CD, then
use a third-party software which emulates the CD drive:
