Pass word for programs

I want to set up pass word for my shipping company I had a few print out lables here and the drivers showed up no go for so I want to set up a pass word on my courier account on my desk top so if they click on it it wont go through unless they know the pass word can anyone help? I use win xp and win 2000 thanks

You can set a screensaver and have it prompt for a password. Right click on your desktop and go to Properties->Screensavers tab. Then choose a screen saver and set the time limit you want it to go into effect. Make sure you check the box for on resume, password protect.

Your account has a password to login right? If so, you can lock your workstation when it's not in use by hitting the Windows and L key on your keyboard. That will lock the computer and ask you for a password if you want access.
