Hi Group,
I have installed the Generic/Text Driver for my thermal printer from my
windows xp machine. If I go to Printer Commands Tab in the driver, I can see
fields called "Begin Print Job" "End Print Job" "Paper Size Select" and
"Paper Feed Selection".

Now can you please tell me where can I find the documentation on these
commands. I need to send a command to the printer to cut the sheet after
ever "End Print Job" and also I would like to see the documentation if
anyone have on these commands.

Thanks

You'd be better of seeking specific help from the makes of the
driver/printer rather than in here, especially with programming questions...

Well, you have to contact the manufacturer of the printer and ask for a
programmer reference manual, they are not likely to corporate since this is old
technology. The best resource could be getting an EPSON programmer reference
manual, why? because they are the industry standard, every one was trying to
simulate their command. I think I might have such manual at home but I don't
have the time to search for it, even if I find it, it's going to be a hard copy
rather than electronic copy. If you find one in electronic copy, please send
me one. Ramboi@attbi.com

Thanks

For many printers, the printer manual with information on the command set is
available on the Internet, often from the printer maker's web site. If you
let us know the printer make and model, perhaps someone could suggest a
source.
