Hi
Is it possible to make winXP sp3 show the full path when
hovering the mouse over a folder button in the taskbar ?
Mine is only showing the last foldername.
Thanks in advance

See if this helps.
Go to Control Panel and double click Folder Options.
In Folder Options, click on the View tab.
Put a check mark in the box next to Display the full path in the title bar.
Click OK.
Good luck

Answer, I don't know about restoring the option in the Display properties
sheet but the procedure outlined in Method 2 on this web site should restore
the IE desktop icon.
The Internet Explorer icon is missing from your desktop
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/945402
Here's a registry fix that might help.
Line 408, right hand column, SP3 Removes IE Desktop Shortcut - Fix

Note: The next time you want to ask a question how about starting a new
thread instead of hijacking one on a totally unrelated topic.
Good luck

Thanks
Yes now I have the full path in the hint, but I also have the full path
on the button which means that I have a lot of buttons that say
D:\UserNa....
Is there any chance of getting a combination of the two, I mean
The foldername ont the button and the full path in the ToolTip ?
Tooltip = D:\UserName\Documents\Pictures
Button = Pictures;
Thanks again
Kind regards

Sorry, I'm not familiar with any Windows settings that will result in the
tooltip and the taskbar button displaying different information.
