I can't Drag/Drop files from the File Finder.
Is there a way to configure this option?

Where are you trying to "Drop" them?

Into another folder, desktop, etc.

Hi again, what Windows version and Service Pack do you have? Mine is Windows
XP-Pro SP3. I think I just got something similar to your drag/drop problem,
but I don't have a clue why it happened, and the Search Results window
stopped responding and I had to (ctrl+shift+ESC) End Task. The search term
was: *.txt
(There were 27993 text files found.) Explorer also shut down and restarted
the taskbar, with all items showing except one missing icon in the SysTray
Notification area. In my case it would not let me even start the drag. The
problem cleared up after Explorer reset. (The missing systray icon will have
to wait until the next time I restart the computer. Smile

Does your problem continue after re-starting the computer?
If so, you might try "Change Preferences" in Search.
(Get rid of the Animated Character? Smile

As a workaround, you might be able to right click and choose "Open
Containing Folder", and then drag from there.

OK, I stumbled on a way to consistently get my drag/drop to quit working in
Search Results, after starting to drag something and pressing ESC to cancel
the drag and then pressing F5 key to "Refresh", while in "Details" View.
Changing to "List" view first, Refresh didn't affect drag/drop, but back to
"Details", still no go without closing the window and WINkey+F to restart
the Find. There is definitely a glitch in Explorer here, since the June 9th
Windows Update. Should we count the days until the July 14th update and get
our hopes up?

(Dear Microsoft... Oh, never mind. Smile

FWIW. --Richard
