Customize size of quick launch icons

I know that you can pick small and large icons for the quick launch.

Is there a way to customize their size?

Right click on the Desktop | Properties | Appearance | Advanced button. In
the Item drop-down box select Icon. Make the appropriate changes.

I /believe/ you have to be running in the Classic mode for this to work.

That changed the desktop icon size but not the size of the quick
launch icons.

Works here. Did you change the Start Menu to Classic View? Right click on
the Taskbar | Properties | Start Menu Tab | Classic Start Menu.
