I have a strange problem I have noticed recently, the first time after
start-up and only the first time, i use windows explorer, any folder, and
right click on a file/ folder windows explorer crashes "windows explorer is
not responding" and I have to restart it. From then on its works fine. I
send error reports but there's never any solutions, it would be nice to stop
this error occuring though.

I have a HP Pavilion Laptop running Vista home premium

Here is the info from problems and solutions in control panel if that helps

In Administrative Tools choose Reliability and Performance Monitor and
choose Reliability Monitor (type Reliability in search on Start). This list
a chart of software installs, uninstalls, Windows updates, and crashes. See
if your crashes started happening after you installed or uninstalled
something.
