My laptop DELL Inspiron B130 has become very very slow after I upgraded from
XP to Vista premium.

Can you suggest what I can do to improve the performance.

Thanks

Vista has some very particular performance needs, not the least of
which include a memory minimum and a fast hard drive. What are you
machine specs?

Hi,

Dell's site:
http://support.dell.com/support/topics/global.aspx/support/vista_suppo...en/vist
says that this system needs at least 512MB of ram installed (upgraded from
original specs) and will not run Vista's Aero interface.
