Laptop keeps switching off

Hi everyone I am wondering whether you could help with a problem I am having with my brothers laptop When you log into an account on it switches itself off imediately while it loads I can get it into safe mode with no problerm even with networking sometimes I know its not the fan so I m just assuming its got some nasty trojans virus s on it can you help?
