Hello all. I am working on a Compaq laptop (with Vista) that belongs to my father. It appears that there is a lot of stuff installed on the computer which may be causing the problem. For some reason, when I start the computer in normal mode, I am unable to open any of the programs or access anything. Really, the only thing that I found will open is the stupid Mahjong Garden Deluxe video game that was installed. I also am unable to get onto the internet or get a network connection. This only works in safe mode.
When I open the computer in safe mode, everything seems to be working 'normally'.
Can anyone help?
