Trying to play everquest

Hiya all! I am getting very frustrated,...I just want to play Everquest and I get all the way to the character select screen and it kicks me back to the server select screen and then says I already have a character logged in and it takes a few times of doing this before I can get in. I also get kicked out of game when I try to go from zone to zone. If anyone has any clue how to fix this,.i would GREATLY appreciate it.

First thing to try is reinstalling the game. If you still have a problem then contact their support.
