I installed Oblivion but i go to start it up and it says oblivion has stoped working, i need help

Have you tried running it as Administrator by clicking on the icon and clicking run as Administrator. You could also try running it under XP by clicking on a shortcut and clicking properties and then compatibility and then click Windows XP SP2 or something similar
