incoming mails blocking the system and "timing out,"

Archived from groups: microsoft>public>windows>vista>mail (more info?)

My windows mail is completely blocked by incoming mails only one of which
will download,while the second email "times out".When I try to send or
receive the same thing happens,repeatedly.

Archived from groups: per prev. post (more info?)

That symptom typically indicates a 'stuck' email on the server.
Log in via webmail (using your browser), sort the messages there by date,
delete all the older ones you already have downloaded, plus one more.
Try Windows Mail again.
