I am using AOL account, and already set up in Winmail, I have no problem to
receive mail, but just can't send out email. The error come like this :

The connection to the server has failed. Subject 'testing', Account:
'imap.aol.com', Server: 'imap.aol.com', Protocol: SMTP, Port: 25,
Secure(SSL): Yes, Socket Error: 10013, Error Number: 0x800CCC0E

can you help ?

AOL doesn't use the default SMTP port number 25...
and the outgoing server name is smtp.aol.com....
and SSL should not be checked....

these instructions for OE will work for Windows Mail...

I had the exact same problem, which baffled me. This worked for me: under
Server Port Numbers, Outgoing mail SMTP, put 587. Also, when I cleared my
Local Folders, Inbox, I was able to send out Emails. Uncheck Store Special
Folders in IMAP Server box, too. Hope this works...let me know...

Yes, it always helps to use the correct required settings.
For AOL, these instructions for OE also work for WM...
