Cannot delete unwanted files. NEED HELP. Desperatley!!!

I am having trouble deleting files from the search bar. What i mean by this is that i have deleted the files from there original location and then 'permanently' deleted them from the recylcling bin. I then went to the search bar in the Start menu and typed in the name of the deleted file. It is still there and when i go to search bar and type in the search. What can i do to delete the history of the deleted files. Or how can i remove them permanently.
