Can't delete mail from deleted box

Try right clicking on deleted messages, click on empty message box and delete
one at a time

Mine won't even let me delete the messages individually? Any suggestions out
there?

Frank,
Thank you, thank you, thank you! I've been using Windows Mail for months,
with no issues. Three days ago I started with this problem - unable to delete
messages in my deleted folder. I found this article and the WMUtil worked! I
am very happy now.

This worked! Is there a way to get the restored email messages in the inbox.
when I dragged and dropped it just created a folder.

What exactly did you do in WMUtil that fixed Deleted Items?

I just want the details on getting the deleted e-mails deleted. Can someone

You've run into a known Windows Mail bug.
Microsoft is currently not offering fixes for Windows Mail,
but they have released what they call a replacement known as
Windows Live Mail:

Hello Kimmy,
Try this:
When you open up your mail in the left hand window there is a drop down
box: This has the following: Inbox, Outbox, Sent Items, DELETED IItems, etc.
RIGHT CLICK ON DELETED ITEMS.
Then go to the tab that reads: Deleted items folder. If you click on this
it will delete the mail ONE at a time! But other than this I have not found
anther way.
This Vista Mail windows program is one of the worse ones I have seen in a
long time. Not only is there problems like this deleting mail buisness BUT
the VISTA windows program needs a LOT of WORK! Well Good Luck I know when
you have a lot of mail like I do this is a painful process! Sandbuds
