why must bon voyage be inserted to play game when seasons wa

Hi,I have installed sims2 then sims Bon voyage,and last sims 2 seasons,but it says I cannot play the game without running sims 2 Bon Voyage disc inserted,why is this,I would think sims2 seasons disc would have to be inserted to run the game.
