I used the 'Control Panel' in an attempt to set the Vista to 'Sleep Mode and apparently did something wrong. It went into 'Sleep Mode' and no matter what I have tried, I can not awaken it.
When the PC is re-booted, it goes right back to 'Sleep'. I have noted the keyboard lights do light up for an instance, but the the PC freezes even though the Power button remains lit and I can hear the fan(s) running.
I can not get back in the computer to re-set the 'Sleep' settings so I'm using my other XP machine to post this. By the way, I had no problem in setting the 'Sleep' mode for this machine.
My Vista machine has all the latest up-dates installed.
Any suggestions on how to get my Vista machine booted up would be greatly appreciated.
