This "Working on your request" NONSENSE Has Got to Stop...

OK.

No, it's not my broadband connection.
No, it's not my browser (or a need to "clear my cache").
No, it's not only happening to me --- it's happening to at least half
a dozen others that I know of --- and they are from totally different
parts of the country.
No, it's got nothing to do with connectivity or a "local" issue --- AT
ALL.

Here's what it is:

REALLY SUPER-ANNOYING.

Quite often, especially at what seem like they might be peak usage
times, Windows Live Hotmail is inexplicably hanging on the "Working on
your request" message --- with mixed results. Sometimes, eventually,
it completes the task (the mail gets sent, etc.). Other times, it
simply hangs. And it never stops hanging. Ever. Sometimes, it doesn't
even say "Working on your request" --- it just sits there. And then, 5
minutes later, it sends the mail. Absolutely unacceptable and
something that NEVER (ever) used to happen in the pre-"Windows Live
Hotmail" environment.

PLEASE FIX THIS --- ASAP!!!

Yup! Same thing here! It just started about a few weeks ago or so for me and many times it just errors/times out! Makes me very nervous sending more important business email since I don't want to look like an idiot double-sending.

And I have uberfast FiOS so no it's not connection, it's Micro$oft. Crying or Very sad

I have to admit I've never had trouble with GMail.

Not trying to start a flame war or anything, just saying.. And to be honest, I never expect a free service to be worth more than I pay for it. I certainly wouldn't trust business e-mail to it.
