Post subject: Windows Device Manager can't connect to pocket PC on Vista

I have a XV6700 Pocket PC (Mobile 5.0) that used to be able to connect to my Vista PC running Windows Device Manager. I'm not sure just when, but it no longer can 'connect' to WDM.

I have entered all of the ports and protocols defined in MS help pages, I have deleted and renewed the device drivers, turned off the MS One Care firewall and the Windows firewall, rebooted, reconfigured, etc. and it STILL can't see the Pocket PC. I don't have another Windows mobile device to try, and I am out of ideas.

Any other suggestions? Crying or Very sad Question

I connect my PPC via intellisynch. I did so under WinXP and I do so under Vista now. I assume that this is the right way to do it.
I don't know of any other.
