Same problem. Went to tools, options clicked on spelling. clicked box, always
check spelling before sending. Went back to message and checked spelling and
it worked.

I too have had this problem. I followed opened the Tools - Options- Spelling
routine and found that it was displaying English, I then checked all the
boxes for the options as to which items spelling was to ignore. I went back
to my mailing, and found that the spell check worked for pre sendening and
also for when I sent the mailing.

Suggestion 1) Try reading the 4 bazillion posts already on this subject.
Suggestion 2) (discovered already if Suggestion 1 was followed) Click
Tools/Options in the MAIN Windows Mail window--before you open a
message/post window.

I have had no luck with the "change the language" feature. I am using Vista
and it does NOT allow a change of language. Does anyone have any other
suggestions? HELP! (oops - PLEASE)

Worked like a top for me as well. Vista is pretty neat. Just going to take a
little getting used to.

I believe you are looking in the tools menu of the email window. Behind that
window will be the Windows Mail or inbox where you see all your new mail.
This the tools menu she is referring to.

There is a check box that needs to be selected on the language page to check
spelling before the email is sent. If left unchecked, it will check as the
email is sent.
Good Luck.
