Hello. I have Vista U (RTM). I connect to our OWA using IE7 in Vista. I
cannot seem to reply to messages. Well, I can reply but it won't allow me
to input my reply on the message body! Any ideas?

Thanks in advance.

Yes, this is a very well documented problem and a patch has been available
for a little while now. Tell whoever runs your Exchange server that they
ought to consider applying patches more than once a year.

support.microsoft.com/kb/911829

We had the same issue and applied the hotfix to the Exchange server.

I must say that Mr. Moir's reply is not only not helpful, but it is also one
of the most rude comments I've read in quite a long while. Totally
disrespectful and arrogant, and rude.

It's been posted before, but the fix for your problem C Dot C, will most
likely be found here: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/911829

Jack Harman, MCSE

Yes, I patch my Exchange servers far more than once a year, and yes, I also
experienced this problem.

You call that rude? My my, you must be an American right? He is just saying
that the guys responsible for the Exchange server should patch their systems
more often. C Dot C looks like a regular Joe to me, telling him where to
find the patch and how to patch the Exchange server is totally irrelavant
for a normal user as the Exchange admins should do this.

Imho if I was C Dot C I would contact the ones responsible for the Exchange
server and do their work so I agree with Robert Moir.

Thank you for commenting.

If you think my reply was one of the rudest you've ever read in quite a long
time then I suspect you may be very very new to usenet in general, and these
groups in particular.

Generally speaking, I don't find it helps to confuse end users with details
of server problems, other than assuring them when a problem is on the server
rather than their computer.

Your experience may be different, I can respect that. Don't expect me to
care about your attempt to summarise my character based on one post though.

Regards
Rob Moir.
