| Hi,
I'm trying to install Acrobat and keep getting a message saying
"The Temp folder is on a drive that is full or is inaccessible. Free up
space on the drive or verify that you have write permission on the temp
folder"
How do I fix this?

Delete some files, or get a bigger hard drive. Sorry, couldn't resist

Did you empty the temp folder? This is a classic installer message and
appears when there are files in the temp folder that could interfere
with the new installation. To locate your temp folder try %temp% in the
Run box (press windows key +R to bring that screen up)

Found a work around:
Run the download from Adobe.
When you get the message to run the second file, do nothing.
Go to c:\users\USERNAME\AppData\LocalLow\Netopsystems
Run the setup.exe as administrator.
Worked for me.

I've been reading some feedback on installing the latest version of Adobe
Reader. Apparently it is designed to install with UAC enabled and will fail
if it is disabled. An interesting twist to the UAC saga...

Don't know if you solved the problem. I found a work around. When the "run" instruction appears you will see the location of the setup.exe file. Don't click run, but go to the directory where the setup.exe file is. work back till you reach the top folder, usually a temp folder, and copy that folder to your desktop. Then cancel the install. Go to the folder on your desktop and run the setup from there.

| I keep getting the same message when I try to install AdobeAIR or, even more bothersome, when I try to install the Windows Installer CleanUp Utility. I'm using Windows XP, though. Can anyone help? |

| Some software is designed to be installed simply by copying their files to the desired real estate agents location, and there is no formal installation process. This was once usual for many programs running under MS-DOS, Mac OS, Atari TOS, AmigaOS since early versions of these operating systems and actually it is very common and "de facto" standard in Mac OS X applications and is also used for many Windows applications. There are versions of some operating systems which do not themselves require installation, and can be run directly from a bootable CD, DVD, or USB drive, without affecting other operating systems installed (but not running) on the machine insurance quote. Examples are AmigaOS 4.0, Knoppix Linux, MorphOS AmigaOS clone, or Mac OS 1-9. |
